Headmore Farm Stud was started in 1994 when we began breeding eventers from a thoroughbred Mare. In 1999, as Alice started becoming interested in dressage, we switched to concentrating on top quality dressage horses.
We only breed from proven competition mares, as we believe the mare is as important (if not more so) than the stallion.
Our current mares are:
"Elite" Rubinsteena by Rubinstein out of a Donnerhall mare who competed very successfully up to medium level.
Windermere by Weltmeyer out of a Brentano II mare. She is full sister to Alice's GP horse Wurlizer.
Headmore Boadicia by Belissimo M out of a Giorgione. She is currently competing with Alice and has qualified for the Nationals in 2010 at novice and elementary at Medium in 2011. She had a filly foal by embryo transfer in 2011 and will be making her Small Tour debut in 2012.
